1, Product Instruction

The test chain is designed according to the standard requirements of IEC 60598 and GB 7000.1standard 4.26 item. It is mainly used for testing the accidental short-circuit protection of uninsulated lights, accessible and opposite SELV parts.

The test chain is made of pinchbeck alloy(Cu63Zn37), plating surface treatment and coating ,200g/m ,the range of resistance value is between 2.5±20%Ωwhen loading stretch.

2, Method of Application

●When measuring the test chain resistance value, please ensure the range is between 2.5±20%Ω

●The space distance between the two poles of the SELV tester ,should be remarked as X, unit is (centimeter/cm)

●The hanging standard balance weight at two sides of test chain =15*X*g or the Max.250 balance weight.

●To set the thermocouple on the suitable position of tested sample, switch on temperature inspection instrument

●Accessing the sample 0.9-1.1times rated voltage power supply

●Place the test chain ,to test short-circle

Note : Melted test chain may scald yourself.

3, Note:

■The test chain is made of pinchbeck alloy, and the surface without coating which is easy to be oxidized, pay attention to maintenance.

■When the resistance value occurs fluctuation, it can be cleaned by ultrasonic or soaked by 0.5% weak acid.

■The overweight of balance weight will cause the wire diameter become smaller.
